It's another Thursday again.

I've been editing songs for a project on my website. It's at CyberMecha.Org or FluxOersted.Com

I have about 40 songs that I've picked through and edited for continuity. I've got them organized into two albums. There are about 6 Pink Floyd songs, and Joe Jackson, Black Sabbath, Paul McCartney, NIN, and even a Gary Numan song. This would be a good couple of sets to me. I just keep making a listening pass and think about what I'm hearing in different angles. Later, I'll listen on some reference speakers and I've got some headphones that are rated for monitor use.

That's what Gary Numan said on the Tubeway Army album. I'm working on a new album (10/17/25) and I'm marking the date so I can come back later and see whether it was finished or not.

I've got 3 songs, but they are not that good. I am experimenting and going for the mechanics of putting together songs. I think I have what I need now to start really focusing on the kind of sound and the instrumentaton I want to use. I tried this using all MIDI recording and using cables to connect my various devices to. It was a lot less workable than I imagined. I enjoyed that equipment but it is not 1992 anymore. I need to just save up and get a new mac mini perhaps.
